Mr. Brett Bachmann - CEO/Executive Director, USA
Brett Bachmann is ICOP's Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director. Brett works on projects related to Alternative Dispute Resolution, negotiation techniques, and legal reform in post conflict nations. He received a B.A. from the San Diego State University, J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, and LL.M. from The Strauss Institute of the Pepperdine School of Law. He received his certificate from The Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneuership and the Law where he ganed the skills needed to represent emerging tehnology and non-profit companies. He studied International and European Union law while living in London, UK, as well as participated in international mediation training programs in The Hague, Netherlands. He is a skilled and practicing mediator who provides conflict resolution training to the various non-profit organizations he represents. Mr. Jared Lawyer - Senior Political Analyst, USA
Jared Lawyer is a Senior Partner at E2i Strategy Group. Prior to his current position Mr. Lawyer was the Business Development Manager at IPOA, an international trade association, where he doubled the revenue and corporate membership in 18 months. Mr. Lawyer served as a business development consultant to Ridgeland Operating, an Oil & Gas Company, and as the Director of Online Operation at SBBCollege. He holds a MA in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara and a BA in International Relations from Fort Lewis College. Mr. Richard Peterson - Director, USA
Richard Peterson is the Director of the Special Education Clinic and Assistant Professor of Law at Pepperdine University. He spent twenty years practicing law as a trial attorney where he frequently served the community as a mediator, arbitrator, and legal representative of developmentally disabled persons victimized by criminal acts or other civil wrongdoings. He has served as an educational consultant conducting workshops in anger management and conflict resolution curriculum for K-12 teachers, administrators, counselors, psychologists, and probation officers in public, private and alternative schools in New York, Delaware, Virginia, Florida, Colorado, Missouri, and California. He was a presenter at the Los Angeles United School District Safe Schools Conference (2002), Mental Health in Schools Conference in Pasadena, California (2001) and provided monthly teacher development workshops on these subjects for the Compton Unified School District during the 2001-02 school year. He was the recipient of the E. Kurt Yeager Servant Leadership Award for outstanding service to people with developmental disabilities at the RCOC Spotlight Awards in 2002. Richard Peterson now focuses his energies on the Special Education Advocacy Clinic where he directs law students providing advocacy and training to parents of children with developmental disabilities who are regional center consumers. He teaches Special Education Law and Disability Law.

Ms. Ingrid Stellmacher - Advisor, UK
Ingrid Stellmacher is a former freelance print and television journalist specializing in current affairs. She attended the National Film and Television School specializing in film production before joining Kings Road Entertainment, Inc. in 2000 as head of European Television and Documentary Film sector. She attended a Senior Policy Maker's Programme from the UN Disaster Management Training Programme at the Peace Institute in Romania in 2004, and the same year attended the International Student Symposium on Mediation and Conflict Resolution at the University of Rotterdam, taking the Track II Diplomacy route. Ingrid co-founded the International Commission of Peace in September of 2004 with partners in the UK, the US, and China. In recognition of her work she was awarded the title "Ambassador of Peace", by International NGO IIFWP, consultative body to the UN (UNESCO).
Dr. Iftikhar Ayaz, OBE - Advisor, Africa
Dr. Ayaz has a Ph.D. in Human Development, a Doctorate in Education and an M.A. in Linguistics. He received the Commonwealth Fellowship Award in 1976. In 2005 he was awarded the International Peace Prize (USA), Outstanding Professional Award (USA) and is Deputy Governor of the Research Institute (USA). He is Vice President of the Pacific Peace Forum, a Senator of the World Nations Congress, and a member of the UN Working Group for the Rights of Minorities. Dr. Ayaz works with the Government of Tanzania on consolidating their education system and with CIRDAFRCA (Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Africa). He works extensively in the field of Conflict Resolution and the restoration and protection of Human Rights.
Mr. Cameron M. Chisholm - Advisor, United States
Cameron M. Chisholm has extensive experience in programming educational symposiums for international participants and a career focused on international civil conflicts and their resolution. Currently, Cameron is conducting research into African Peace and Security Architecture as a Rotary World Peace Fellow at the University of Bradford in the UK. Before moving to England, Cameron designed tailor-made professional exchange programs for U.S. Department of State International Visitors as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Previously, he was the Program Director for a DC-based non-profit recruiting participants and designing curricula for International Conflict Resolution symposia in Europe and the Middle East. Cameron has also acted as an independent consultant on Conflict Resolution initiatives for organizations such as AMIDEAST. He has a degree in International Studies from Emory University, where he conducted research in the Conflict Resolution Program at The Carter Center and was responsible for tracking of key conflict areas internationally.
Ms. Ognjenka Manojlovic - Advisor, Eastern Europe
Ognjenka Manojlovic is currently working as a legal expert in Zagreb, Croatia and is a Board Member of the Institute for the Development of Education in Zagreb, Croatia. Ognjenka has considerable experience in organizing academic programs for international students and professionals focusing on international human rights, globalization and efficiency of judiciary systems. She's a trained mediator and has lead a project providing for free training in negotiation and conflict resolution for students and student activists at the University of Zagreb. Ognjenka has also for two years managed an international project focusing on judiciary reform under the Inter-University Center in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Hilarie Mukamazimpaka - Socio-professional
Hilarie Mukamazimpaka is a Rwandan, born in 1967, she is married and Mother of 1 Child. She is actually attending Masters Studies in Genocide Studies and Preventions. She holds a Degree in Law and is trained in Mediation, Negotiations, Leadership and Conflict Resolution.
She has worked with Rwanda Genocide Testimony and Research Centre - Humura Centre as the Executive Director. She has also worked with In ACORD (Agency for Cooperation and Research in Development) as Head of Advocacy and Legal Rights Department. She was National Coordinator within Genocide Widows Association (AVEGA) for four years after the 1994 Genocide. She previously worked with the Ministry of Justice as a Head of Social Medical Section in Nyanza Prison. She has working experience with the Civil Society and Private Sector as a National Consultant.
Mrs. Hilarie Mukamazimpaka has led various Studies on Human Rights, Women and Gender Equality, Children of Household Advocacy, Conflict Management, Gender Based Violence Prevention, Women Legal Status. She attended different International and Local Conferences and Seminars related to: International Law, Racism, Projects Management, Poverty Alleviation, Justice and Accountability, Peace and Development. She worked with UNIFEM for project of Trust Fund on violence against women in 2008 and in 2009 as an independent consultant. The slogan for Trust Fund 2008 was violence against women and for 2009 was Implementation of laws, policies and plan of action. She has traveled in different Countries and Continents such: Africa, America, and Europe as a National Spokesperson and Representative of Various Associations. She is a Founder Member of different Organizations at National level such as: Genocide Widows Association, Humura Centre and the Association des Etudiants Rescapes du Genocide. She is also a Body member of Human Rights Association (A.V.P.). She is actually one of Commissioners in National Commission for the Fight against the Genocide in Rwanda.
Ms. Lisa Saum - Advisor, United States
Lisa Saum is a Ph.D. Candidate at University of California, Los Angeles, whose research interests include international terrorism, U.S. national security and nuclear policy. As an Associate with the Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation, she collaborates with policy experts, nuclear engineers, and physicists in a cross-disciplinary approach to identify and ameliorate key threats to global peace in the post-Cold War era. She has also been trained in the art of international conflict resolution through the University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and has taught several undergraduate courses at UCLA on the effect of national security policy on human and civil rights during the Cold War and post-9/11 environment. Her current research efforts focus on the effects of international terrorism on post-conflict countries.
Mr. Robert Turyahebwa - Advisor, Africa
Robert Turyahebwa graduated in 2004 with a LL.M. from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, School of Law, The Netherlands. He has extensive knowledge and experience in consultancy work in developing regional projects and protocols for the Great Lakes Region in areas of good governance and democracy. He is the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Universite Laique Adventiste de Kigali (UNILAK) in Rwanda where he lectures on Public International Law, Environmental Law, Commercial Law, International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. He is a member of the Council of Magistrates in Kigali where he deals with the recruitment, and expulsion and discipline of Judges, in addition to rendering legal observations of the finalization of legal texts. He also has experience in the Great Lakes Region as a Rwandan expert in the areas of democracy and good governance.

Robert Turyahebwa - Advisor, Africa
Robert Turyahebwa graduated in 2004 with a LLM from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, School of Law, The Netherlands. He has extensive knowledge and experience in consultancy work in developing regional projects and protocols for the Great Lakes Region in areas of good governance and democracy.
